COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women men’s soccer team will be back on the road for midweek action as the travel to Selma, Ala. to face Concordia College. The Owls (3-7-2) will face the Hornets (8-3), a USCAA sister institution, for the second time this season on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
NORFOLK, Va. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association recently released the Oct. 2 – Oct. 8 players of the week and the Owls very own Paxton Bound, men’s soccer, was among those honored.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Owls men’s soccer team found a 2-2 draw at Johnson University on Saturday, Oct. 7. Despite a well-played second half by both teams, the host school was not interested in overtime play. The tie was called at the end of regulation.
POWELL, Tenn. - The MUW soccer team made light work of the Crown College of the Bible on Friday, Oct. 6. The Owls dominated the scoring effort to defeat the Crown, 5-1 and improve on the season 3-7-1.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls men’s soccer team has six games left in the 2017 season and is looking to end the season on a high note. With two back-to-back wins on the road, the Owls will travel to the Crown College of the Bible and Johnson University with a new found confidence and energy that only wins can bring.
CONWAY, Ark. – The Mississippi University for Women men’s soccer team had a successful rematch against Hendrix College. The Owls came out of the gate strong to defeat the Warriors 4-3 on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Hendrix’s Warrior Field.
COLUMBUS, Miss. - The MUW men’s soccer team was unable to step away from Sunday’s match with a win, falling 5-2 to Itawamba Community College at Sprint Mart Field. The Owls put up a great effort against the Indians but several missed opportunities and fouls proved to be their downfall.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Owls men’s soccer team recorded their first victory its program history on Friday, Sept 29 when The W defeated Oakwood University 4-1.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women men’s soccer team fell, 3-0, against Birmingham-Southern on a hot Sunday afternoon at Sprint Mart Field at the Columbus Soccer Complex. With the home loss, the Owls fall to 0-7-1 overall, while the Panthers improve to 4-3-1.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – After almost three weeks on the road, the Mississippi University for Women men’s soccer team will bring the game home on Sunday, Sept. 23 when they host Birmingham-Southern. The 0-6-1 Owls will be searching for their first win of the season against the 3-3-1 Panthers in front of their fans on Sprint Mart Field.
