The Owls Set to Host LeTourneau

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W women's soccer team will return to its home field when they take on LeTourneau University, a NCAA Division III competitor, on Saturday, Sept. 8. Coming off a road loss against Huntingdon College earlier in the week, the Owls enter Saturday's match 0-3 on the season while the Yellowjackets are undefeated with a 3-0 record.

Owls defender Caroline Grafe and forward Chelsey Walker have played and started in all three matches to lead their team's offense with three shots each and one shot on goal each.

Guarding The W goal, Sarah Gilliland leads the Owls defense. The sophomore goalkeeper from Brandon, Miss. has played and started in all three matches to record 20 saves to average 1.67 goals allowed per game and a .800 save percentage.
