HANCEVILLE, Ala. - The Owls volleyball team was unable to come up with a win during the Wallace State Volleyball Tournament going 0-2 in day two.

Against Catawba Valley Community College, the Owls fell 0-3 (6-25, 7-25, 23-25). "This morning's match was a test of some different lineups and moving people around in positions," said head coach Roxanne Hernandez. "We served really well and I think our offense was a bit better today."

Facing off against the host school Wallace State Community College, The W struggled again to get the offense going. The Owls dropped the match 0-3 (12-25, 13-25, 10-25). "Unfortunately, we really racked up our unforced errors. Missed served and attacking errors really put us in the hole and Wallace capitalized on those mistakes," said Hernandez of the Wallace match. "We will have to have short term memory and move ahead to get back to practice and prepare for Belhaven and LeTourneau."
