"We ran at Choctaw trails which is never an easy course, but it was a great day for running," stated head cross country coach Morgan Turnipseed. "Though the course is tough and we've had to work through injuries, I've learned that the Owls never quit. These ladies are strong. I'm looking forward to giving them a restful week to prepare them for our last meet. Hopefully giving them fresh legs will help them get their best times of the season at our last race, a 5K at Choctaw Trails."
The Owls will be back on the trail on Saturday, Oct. 14 when they compete in the Mississippi College Choctaw Open Invitational for their last meet of the season. The race is set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
