Cross Country Sees Improvement in First 5K of the Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Mississippi University for Women women’s cross country team finished in 24th place at the Rhodes College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 16.The Owls competed against several NCAA Division I athletic programs, including Arkansas State University, University of Memphis, Mississippi Valley State University, Jacksonville State University, Alabama A&M University, and Jackson State University. Despite the stiff competition, The W kept pushing and finished its first 5K run of the season.

Cross Country to Take On 5K at Rhodes Invitational

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women cross country team will travel to Memphis, Tenn. to participate in the 27th annual Rhodes College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 16. The Owls will compete in a 5K race at Shelby Farms Park at 9:15 a.m.

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owl’s women’s cross country team is set to begin the 2017 season at the Mississippi College Season Opener. The 4K run will be held at Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss. on Friday, Sept. 1.

Cross Country Opens with Practice Meet at Mississippi College

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls women’s cross country team will open the 2017 season with a practice meet hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. The meet known as the MC Twilight Two Mile will be held on Friday, Aug 24 at the James E. Parkman Track.
