Don Usher Softball Field

Don Usher, a Columbus businessman, was very supportive of the MUW Athletic Program At the ground breaking ceremony in 1984, the field was named in memory of Mr. Usher. Opening on March 18, 1986, the Don Usher Softball field has hosted many opponents across all divisions.

To Campus From US-82 E, MS-12 E

  • Take US-82 E/ MS-12 E to MS-182/Main Street in Lowndes County. Take the Main Street exit from US-82 E/MS-12 E. Merge onto MS-182/Main Street (following signs for Downtown Columbus). Continue straight onto Main Street for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto 13th Street South and then left onto College Street. Continue for 0.1 mile to the stop light. At the stop light turn right and continue for 0.5 miles. Your destination will be on the left.

  • Take US-82 E/ MS-12 E to MS-182/Main Street in Lowndes County. Take the Main Street exit from US-82 E/MS-12 E. Merge onto MS-182/Main Street (following signs for Downtown Columbus). Continue straight onto Main Street for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto 13th Street South and then left onto College Street. Continue for 0.1 mile to the stop light. At the stop light turn right and continue for 0.5 miles. Your destination will be on the left.
