JACKSON, Miss. – Keith Harris surpassed his previous career-high for 35 points against Belhaven University Tuesday afternoon.  Fellow Owl Tavonta Jones scored an additional 20 in the match-up but it was not enough for the victory. The W men's basketball team fell 95-86 versus the Blazers in Heidelberg Gymnasium.

Leading his team in rebounding, senior guard Jonte Moultrie pulled down nine boards. He also recorded three assist and two steals. Aiding his team offensively, sophomore Quinn Williams tallied a team-high five assists with five rebounds.

The W (2-9) played well on the floor, making 33-of-69 (47.8 percent) field goals and 8-of-22 (36.5 percent) in three-point range. Belhaven (2-5) went 29-of-60 (48.3 percent) from the floor and 10-of-26 (38.5 percent) from beyond the arc. At the line, the Owls made 12-of-20 (60.0 percent) while the Blazer shot 93.1 percent, making 27-of-29.
