Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HENDERSON, Tenn. - Mississippi University for Women's tennis teams both lost at Freed-Hardeman University by identical 6-1 scores. The Owls' women's team dropped to 0-6, while the men are now 1-5 on the year.
 
On the men's side, The W received its lone point at No. 3 doubles, where Jasper Poag and Braxton Brown took a forfeit point. FHU swept all six singles matches in straight sets.
 
On the women's side, freshman Alexis Woods earned the Owls' lone on-court win of the day. Playing No. 6 singles, Woods won a 6-2, 6-2 straight sets victory over FHU's Marlie McKenna-Thompson.
 
The W will next be in action at home on Friday (Feb. 23/11 a.m.) versus Huntingdon College.
