Box Score 2 COLUMBUS, Miss. – Mississippi University for Women fell to Huntingdon College in both the men's and women's contests at the Garrett Courts. The Owls men lost by a 7-2 score, while the women were edged, 5-4.
The win gave HC the series sweep over MUW for both genders, as well.

Allen Lewis dominated the Hawks' Griffin Osborn in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
At the No. 6 slot, MUW's
Jasper Poag won a straight-set victory over Huntingdon's Brennan Parks, 6-2, 6-1, for the 7-2 final team score.
For the MUW women's squad (0-7), after gaining forfeit points at third doubles and sixth singles, the Owls made things interesting by also winning the Nos. 3 and 5 singles matches.
What was easily the match-up of the day at No. 3 singles, MUW's
Macie Manasco lost her first set to the Hawks' Ella Hathcoch, 6-2. But Manasco battled back to win the second set, 7-6 (7-3). In the deciding pro set third, Manasco rolled to a 10-7 win and an Owls' team point.
Freshman
Jaysa Whatley was victorious at fifth singles. Whatley dispatched of HC's Angelina Mazza in straight sets, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2.
