Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Mississippi University for Women tennis teams both suffered 9-0 defeats at Illinois College on Friday afternoon. The Owls men's and women's squads both fell to 1-8 on the season.
 
The MUW men lost all six singles bouts in straight sets. Jasper Poag, at No. 5 singles, found himself in a real dogfight, losing his bout by a count of 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-3).
 
The W ladies suffered a similar fate, losing all six singles contests in straight sets versus the powerful IC side.
