ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Mississippi University for Women men's and women's tennis teams will both get their first taste of league post-season play this weekend at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) South Division tournament.
The Owls' men's team will have a play-in match on Friday (April 25) at 9 a.m. versus Westminster College at Principia College's indoor facility. The winner get's the No. 4-seed position and will face Principia one hour after in a semi-final match. The semi-final winner then travels to SIU-Edwardsville to face the other semi-final winner for the UMAC men's title.
The MUW women will be the No. 4-seed and take on top-seeded Principia, at 10:30 a.m. at the outdoor Dwight Davis Tennis Center, weather permitting. The UMAC women's championship match will follow between the two semi-final winners.
