Box Score COLUMBUS, Miss. - Mississippi University for Women men's tennis came out on the short end of a 9-0 decision at home versus Christian Brothers University on Sunday evening at the Garrett Courts. The Owls fell to 2-11, while the Buccaneers improved to 8-8.
 
The W squad found the going tough versus the NCAA Division II CBU team, which lost just three games the entire match.
 
MUW honored its five senior players – from both the women's and men's teams – in pre-match Senior Day ceremonies. Recognized from the Owls' women's team were Macie Manasco (Mathiston, Mississippi/Eupora H.S.) and Maggie Taylor (Columbus, Mississippi/New Hope H.S.).
 
The three men's players honored were Allen Lewis (Columbus, Mississippi/Columbus H.S.), Kristopher McGowan (Philadelphia, Mississippi/Neshoba Central H.S.), and Sam Yarborough (Columbus, Mississippi/Caledonia H.S.).
