This week's ZACHARY'S OWLS OF THE WEEK goes to a pair of record-setting cross-country runners for The W: Jarvis Sellers (men's cross-country) and Hannah Owens (women's cross-country). Both proved deserving by their respective performances at Saturday's SLIAC cross-country championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Jarvis became the first-ever MUW men's runner to earn All-SLIAC status by finishing 14th in a school-record 8K time of 28:36.4 minutes, good for a second-team all-conference finish. Owens, in the women's 6K, placed 7th, giving her back-to-back first-team All-SLIAC finishes and a fourth consecutive All-SLIAC designation for her career (she was second team as a freshman and sophomore).
