COLUMBUS, Miss. – Three basketball players from The W –
Conley Langford and
Fantasia Wilson from the women's team, as well as
Jackson Reid for the men – have been recognized for their combined athletic and academic prowess on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic NCAA III All-District® team, it has been announced.
For Langford, a senior biology major, it marks her third-consecutive honor on the Academic All-District® team. Langford was also a CSC Academic All-American® second team in 2022-23. She was voted All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) - and to the SLIAC All-Academic Team - for the third-straight campaign, as well, finishing the season averaging 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Because of her elite statistics and honors this season, Langford will once again advance for consideration on the Academic All-American® ballot, as well.
Wilson is a junior first-year transfer to MUW, and is a healthcare management major. Wilson led The W in both assists and steals in 2025-26, as well as ranking among the SLIAC leaders in both categories. Wilson averaged 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. She was tabbed on the SLIAC's All-Sportsmanship Team, as well.
Reid, who will graduate with his MBA degree this May, was a key cog in the MUW men's basketball run to its first SLIAC championship and NCAA Division III post-season tournament berth in 2025-26. Reid started 22 of 24 games played, with an average of 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. Reid is a two-time SLIAC All-Academic Team selection.
