Madison Scoggin enters her second season as a member of the Owls softball team. Junior/Community College Scoggin attended Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. The Bay Springs native was a member of the Wildcat softball team. For her effort on the field and in the classroom, she was named to the 2016-17 NJCAA Second All-Academic Team. High School Scoggin attended Stringer High School in Stringer, MS. There, she was a member of the Red Devils softball team. For her efforts on the field, she was named to the 2014 MAC All-Star team and the 2013 All-Region team. She also received the Lady Red Devil Award and the Best Defense Award. For her efforts in the classroom, Scoggin received honor roll recognition 2012-2015, was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta mathematics honor society, the Beta Club, and Spanish Club. Personal She is the daughter of Robert and Sonia Scoggin and the sister of Matt and Rachel Scoggin. She enjoys Chick-fil-a chicken nuggets, the movie "A League of Their Own", and the song "Bold Like a Back Road" by Sam Hunt. Here at The W, she is studying Spanish. |
