Jana Kay Newell enters her second season as a member of the Owls softball team.

• Member of the softball team 
• Named to the 2016-17 Dean's List and 2018 Presidents' List
 
High School (Park Place Christian Academy)
• Member of the softball and basketball team and FCA
• Received Best Offense Award, MVP, and All-District Teams
 
Personal
Newell is the daughter of Joe and Judy Newell and the sister of Jayson, Joshua, and Jessica. She enjoys sushi, the Madea movies, and the song "The Git Up" by Blanco Brown. She is studying family studies here at The W.
