SHREVEPORT, La.- The Mississippi University for Women volleyball team took to the road on Saturday, for a morning-evening doubleheader versus Centenary College. The Owls would drop both matches to the Ladies by identical 0-3 scores at the Gold Dome.

The W lost the morning out by set scores of 17-25, 16-25, 17-25. In the afternoon rematch, the set scores went against MUW, 13-25, 20-25, 19-25.

In the day's opener, it was
Llayne Skinner topping the Owls' attack with seven kills. Skinner also led the defensive side, with 15 digs to her credit. She also had an ace and to assists on her ledger.

Teammate
Maggie Griggs managed six kills, a block and four digs.
Jasmine Kelly added five kills and a pair of blocks.

Setters
Camryn Johnson and
Hannah Duran each gave 11 assists. Johnson had six digs and served up four of the team's nine aces in the match.

Sydney Horel dropped two aces on the Ladies, as well.
Madison Suggs had an ace and 10 digs to her credit.

In the afternoon rematch, it as
Maggie Ledbetter with a break-out effort of eight kills and a .222 attack average. Kelly added six kills of her own in match two, giving her 11 for the day.

Duran had 16 of the Owls 26 assists as a team. Suggs led the backrow players with nine digs, while Duran and Skinner had seven digs, apiece.
