COLUMBUS, Miss. – Taking a break from its conference schedule, the Mississippi University for Women volleyball team hosted regional foe Huntingdon College and came out on the short end of a 3-1 decision at Pohl Gym. The Owls (4-12) lost to the Hawks (6-14) by set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-19.
After MUW beat HC for the first time in its history back on October 5, a five-set thriller, it only figured that the rematch might be close, as well. All four sets were highly competitive, as demonstrated by a combined 16 ties and 11 lead changes during the contest.
