COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W men's soccer lost at home to Westminster College, 5-0, in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) match at the Roger Short Soccer Complex. The Owls fell to 0-18-0 (0-8-0 SLIAC), while the Blue Jays improved to 2-9-3 on the year (2-2-3 SLIAC).
MUW found itself down early, as WC tallied in the 4th minute. The 'Jays added a second goal in the 28th minute and held that 2-0 advantage until halftime. Three more second half tallies – 51st, 58th, and 64th minutes – accounted for the final score.
Jordan Ware took two of his team's four shot tries.
Daniel Holmes had The W's lone shot on goal. As a team, the Owls were outshot by an 18-4 margin, 11-1 on frame.
