ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The W volleyball was swept by Fontbonne University, 3-0, in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) match on the road. The Owls (4-18, 0-14 SLIAC) lost to the Griffins (16-8, 11-5 SLIAC) by set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-15.
MUW struggled to get its offense going early. The W had just one kill the entire first set. But while The W's attack picked up steam the final two sets, FBU kept the pressure on with its serving, that produced a total of 12 aces.

Sophomore
Madyson McBrayer – another former New Hope H.S. player - and senior
MC Brown each contribute four kills. McBrayer and
Jamya Fondren each had three blocks, as well.
Libero
Madison Kelly topped the backrow players with eight digs, while also serving up both of the Owls' aces. Senior setter
