COLUMBUS, Miss. – A total of three Mississippi University for Women tennis players have been honored on the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis teams, it has been announced. The awards are selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Representing the MUW men's tennis program are a pair of local products in Jasper Poag and Lucas Suggs. Poag is a junior from Columbus and attended New Hope High School. He is a communications major.
 
Suggs is a sophomore from Caledonia and Caledonia High School. He is a secondary education major.
 
On the women's side, the Owls had Macie Manasco selected to the Academic All-District® squad. Manasco is a sophomore from Mathiston and attended Eupora High School. She is an elementary education major at The W.
 
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
