LaGRANGE, Ga. – The W men's soccer gave up five first half goals at LaGrange College and never recovered in a 6-0 non-conference setback. The loss dropped the Owls to 0-3-0 on the young season, while the Panthers improved to 1-2-0.
 
MUW found itself out-shot by LaGarange for the evening, 26-5 overall. The W had three of its shots on frame, compared to 15 by LC.
 
Owls' first-year goalkeeper Antonio Romero was charged with all six goals by the Panthers. Romero amassed nine total saves.
 
Jose Castillo and Trey Parnell each had a pair of shots for MUW, with one shot each on-goal, as well. Josh Zuniga had The W's other shot on-goal.
 
The W will have a week off until it resumes action next Friday (Sept. 13/7 p.m.) at Centenary College.
