BATESVILLE, Ark . – The W men's soccer drew down the curtain on 2025 with a, 10-1, St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) loss on the road to Lyon College. The Owls finish the year at 3-13-1 (0-7-1 SLIAC), while the Scots upped their record to 7-6-3 (5-2-1 SLIAC).
 
Seniors Kyle Morris, Ethan Barnes, Trey Parnell, and Josh Zuniga all closed out their MUW careers in the match, as well.
 
The W starting goalkeeper Cortland Earl was charged with four goals and had six saves in the first half. Freshman goalie Nick Gutierrez had one save and allowed six second-half tallies by the Scots.
 
Juan Puga scored the Owls' lone goal on a penalty kick with less than a minute remaining in the match. It was Puga's second goal of 2025.
