COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W soccer teams each had one player selected to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) All-Sportsmanship Team, in their respective genders. Ethan Barnes was tabbed for men's soccer and Avery Bartlett for women's soccer.   

Barnes, from Hernando, Miss. (Hernando H.S.), was a senior midfielder who completed his second and final year with MUW in 2025. Barnes had one goal and one assist this season. He is also a two-year member of MUW's Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Before joining The W, Barnes played two seasons at Northwest Mississippi Community College. 

Bartlett is a junior defender from Arlington, Tennessee (Arlington H.S.). She just completed her third season with the Owls, starting 16 matches in 2025. She has been on The W's A.D. Honor Roll all three seasons, as well.
