COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W women's basketball standout
Mia Bowen (Buena Vista, Miss.) has been selected as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Week for the period covering February 2-8, 2026, it has been announced by the league office. It marks the second time that the senior has won the SLIAC's weekly honor, also taking home for the December 28, 2025-January 8, 2026, recognition.
In MUW's two games last week, Bowen averaged a double-double of 23.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game, all while shooting 59 percent (20-34) from the floor. Bowen also collected a total of eight blocks (4.0 per game), to extend her NCAA Division III national lead in rejections to 78 total this season (3.98 pr game).
Bowen has a total o 10 double-double games in 2025-26. She has also tallied in double-digit scoring in all 20 games this year, as well, eclipsing 20-plus points on eight occasions.
For the season, Bowen tops the team in scoring (18.8 p.p.g.), rebounds (9.8 r.p.g.), field goal percentage (42.0%), and blocks.
