BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The W women's golf senior Ashley Estabrook (Truckee, Calif.) has been selected as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Week for women's golf, the league office announced. Estabrook was honored for the period of September 21-27, 2026, as the Owls placed seventh at the Rhodes College Invitational this past weekend at the Links at Audubon course in Tennessee.

Estabrook's first round of 76 is tied for the fourth-best round produced by a SLIAC competitor this season. With a second-round tally of 79, Estabrook finished with a composite score of 155, which ranked as the second-best 36-hole total in MUW school history and earned her a tie for 18th in the 55-player field.

Estabrook's efforts also helped The W team to a record-setting performance, as well. The Owls' squad had an aggregate score of 314 after the first round, the lowest team round in program history. The W ladies also finished with a two-round total of 641, shattering the previous school team record for 36 holes by 18 strokes.

It also marked the 12th time in her four-year career at MUW that Estabrook has earned a top-20 finish. It is the eighth time in her career that she has been the team's top finisher at an event. Estabrook has also earned the SLIAC's weekly honor four times in the past three seasons, alone.

"I am really proud of how Ashley played this week," Owls head coach Benji Williams said. "She has worked really hard these last four years. She's starting to put some real consistent rounds together. She keeps improving every week."

Next up for Estabrook – and her teammates – will be the SLIAC women's golf championships. The tourney takes place October 4-6, in Edinburgh, Indiana, at the Timbergate Golf Course.
