Biography

Leon "Trey" Petite enters his fourth season as a member of the Owls baseball team. 

As a Junior (2019) *Please note- Season cut short due to COVID-19*

  • Started in 7 out of 9 game appearances. 

  • Batting 3.14 with 4 RBIs, hits (11), and 1 SB. 

As a Sophomore (2018)

  • Played in 31 games for the Owls.
  • Batted .340 with 19 RBIs, hits (32), and on-base percentage (.420).

As a Freshman (2017)

  • Played in 29 games
  • Finished with .323 batting average with 21 RBIs, hits (31), and on-base percentage (.409).

Personal
Petite is the son of Leon M. Petite, Jr. and Jennifer Florence Kelly. He has three siblings; Madeline Petite, Matt Morgan, and Sydney Hinds. He enjoys nachos, the movie "Varsity Blues", and the song "Hound Dog" by Elvis Presley.
