Damain Benefield enters his fourth season as a member of the Owls baseball team. 

As a Junior (2019) *Please note- Season cut short due to COVID-19*

• Started in 7 of 9 game appearances. 

• Batted .414 with 13 RBIs, 12 hits with 5 doubles.  

As a Sophomore (2018)

• Played in 31 games
• Batted .400 with 29 RBIs, 34 hits, and on-base percentage (.513)

As a Freshman (2017)

• Played in 30 games
• Batted .430 with 7 home runs, 37 RBIs, 43 hits, and on-base percentage (.532)

High School (Cleburne County HS)

• Member of the Tiger baseball team
• Team captain
• Home run derby champion
• Named to the Perfect Game All-Tournament team
• Named one of the top 25 hitters and pitchers in eight events during the 2016-17 season
• Received honor recognition 

Personal
Benefield is the son of Daniel and Lyn Benefield and the brother of Tristen Benefield. He enjoys Mexican food, the movie "Walking Tall", and the song "Wanted Dead or Alive". He is studying physical therapy with a minor in exercise science here at The W.
