Cartez Posey enters his second season as a member of the Owls baseball team. 

Junior (2017)

He played in 3 games within his first year as an Owl.

Posey attended Hinds Community College where he was a member of the Eagles baseball team and the FCA. 

High School
Posey attended Clinton High School in Clinton, MS where he was a member of the Arrows baseball team. While there, he was named to to the All-State team, All-Metro team, All-District Team, Team Mississippi, and received the most outstanding award.

Personal
Posey is the son of Nikitna Barnes and the brother of Courtland Posey. He enjoys his mother's cooking and the song "Redbone" by Childish Gambino. 

Posey is studying business administration here at The W.
