Cox attended Demopolis High School in Demopolis, Al where he was a member of the baseball and football teams, SNHS, BETA, Mu Alpha Theta, and FBLA.
His athletic accomplishments include all-county in baseball and football 2014-2015, highest team batting average in 2015, team captain for baseball and football team 2016-17.
Because of his efforts in the classroom, he graduated top 10 percent of his class.
Personal
He is the son of Ronnie and Fran Cox and the brother of Jackson Cox.
