The W Athletics

2024:
All-SLIAC third team ... SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team ... appeared in 23 matches, starting 22 ... Owls' offensive leader at 3.09 KPS ... a .148 attack average ... 17 aces ... 1.93 digs per set ... in her very first match for The W - vs. Crowley's Ridge College (on 8/30/24) - set a school record for a 4-set match with 22 kills (in 47 attempts) ...  also set the school record for kills in a 3-set match with 15 vs. Huntingdon (9/10/24) ... had a season-high of 23 kills vs. Eureka (10/5/24) in a 5-set match (one shy of the school kills record), but where she did have a record 63 attempts ...13 matches with double-figure kill totals.      
2023:
Played at Lee University ... appeared in two matches, with one start ... Dean's List.
2021 & 2022:
Played two seasons at the University of North Alabama ... injured as a sophomore in 2022 ... as a freshman in 2021, had 21 matches played with one start (50 sets) ... 88 kills ... 1.88 kills per set ... a .148 attack average... 3 matches with double-figure kill totals ... high of 14 kills on 11/14/21 versus Central Arkansas ... Dean's List as a freshman in 2021.
HIGH SCHOOL:    
A graduate of Summertown High School (2021) ... coach was Andrea Kelly ... three varsity seasons ... team won state titles her junior and senior seasons (2023 & 2024) ... all-state selection as a junior and senior, as well ... region and state tourney MVP as a senior ... 2x all-region ... 3x all-district for the Eagles.
CLUB:
Played for Tennessee Performance Volleyball ... coach was Shawn Robinson.     
PERSONAL:    
Born on February 14, 2004 ... daughter of Jason and Brandy Brown ... has one brother (Hawkins) ...enjoys water sports and is a self-proclaimed "adrenaline junkie" ... volunteerism includes several medical mission trips to El Salvador and Peru ... also done work with local food bank and for volleyball camps ... a little known fact is that she does impressions, among them the Grinch, Gru (from Despicable Me) and Roz (from Monsters, Inc.) ,,, a nursing major ... wants career in emergency medicine ... selected The W because Coach Linder "was a huge factor in my choice to attend the W. I think she was an incredible player and even better person. The W also has a stellar nursing program and is exceptional at accepting transfer students".
