A graduate of Columbus High School (2019) … coach was Yvonne Hairston …all-conference as a junior … captain as a junior and senior … also played softball for the Falcons … graduated top-20 in her class and was CHS Student of the Year. 
PERSONAL:
Born  November 15, 2000, in Columbus, Miss. … daughter of Derek Hughes and Sherita Jethrow Oneal, and stepdaughter to Decourtney Oneal … has three brothers (Marius, Tre, & Taymond) and two sisters (Amber & Kenya) … her mother and two cousins all attended The W, as well … spends free time playing with her daughter and enjoying nature … volunteers as a math tutor and t-ball coach … a biology major … deciding career choice between a doctor, pharmacist, or in biomedical science … selected The W because “the academics of my desired major and financial considerations…the cost really aligned with my career goals I have set.”
