Britain Welzien enters her second season as a member of the Owls women's soccer team. 

As a Junior in 2018
• Played in 16 games with 16 starts with 1 goal
• Tallied 9 shots with 5 shots on goal for a .556 shot on goal percentage

As a Freshman & Sophomore (Holmes CC)
• Member of the Women's Soccer Team
• Her team made the state finals twice
• Named All-State (2x) and Mississippi All-Star

High School (Ridgeland HS)
• Member of the cheer squad, the soccer, football, and golf teams
• Named a Mississippi All-Star
• Received Mississippi All-Star honors, and won the state championship twice
• Graduated in the top 10 percent

Personal
She is the daughter of Patrick and Mauri Welzien and the sister of Brody and Brandon. She enjoys pasta, the movie "Beauty and the Beast", and the song "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse. She is studying accounting here at The W.
