McMurphey is the daughter of Dennis and Heather D'Orvilliers and Jeff McMurphey. She had two siblings; Hunter and Libby. She enjoys pizza, the movie "10 Things I Hate About You", and the song "Hurricane" by Luke Combs. At The W, she is studying elementary education.
