Coach Wolfe's Thoughts

"I am really proud of our guys! They competed hard all weekend. All preseason we've talked to our guys about competing hard. The depth in our lineup really showed today. We had guys all up and down the lineup contribute in a major way. During game one, David Standifer gave us a quality start, and Brady Jones was phenomenal out of the pen. John David Birdsong had a big game along with several other guys offensively. During game 2, Courtlan Frost competed hard on the mound and was outstanding. Our offense had really mature approaches and that allowed us to score 16 runs. Overall, it was a great weekend for the Owls!"
