BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. - Mississippi University for Women baseball was outhit, 12-4, in suffering a 10-0 loss at Blue Mountain Christian. The Owls fell to 5-24-1, while the Toppers improved to 25-23.
Avery Benson went 2-for-3 in the contest as the lone Owl with multiple hits.

Tanner Evans was 0-1, but drew a pair of walks.

Scott Mularz had the "committee" approach as far as his pitchers went, sending six Owl hurlers to the hill. Starter
Brandon Fenimore (1-2) went the first two frames and gave up just one run in absorbing the loss. Fenimore struck out two and walked just one Topper.
All five of Fenimore's successors on the mound gave up runs to BMCU, as well.
The W will close out the 2023 campaign on Friday (April 28) with a doubleheader at Southeastern Baptist College.
