BATESVILLE, Ark. – For just the second time in program history, The W women's golf brought home a tournament title, winning the 2025 Lyon College Scots Fall Invitational in decisive fashion on Monday and Tuesday at the Course at Eagle Mountain. The Owls brought home the winner's trophy, finishing 28 strokes clear of the rest of the field.
Four MUW players –
Ashley Estabrook, Addeline Campbell,
Sara Grace Ramey, and
Isabel Velazquez – all finished within the top-10 of the 32-player field. Estabrook was the tourney runner-up, just one shot off the champion. Estabrook's card read 84-81=165 for her 36 holes.
Campbell earned third place, one stroke behind teammate Estabrook, with a 166 (88-78).
Ramey was tied for fifth place in the standings, posting a composite 169 (83-86). Velazquez found herself in a three-way knot for eighth place, rebounding from a tough 91 in the first round with a respectable 81 in round two, to finish with an aggregate 173.
Lindsey Reimsnyder finished in the middle of the pack in a tie for 15th (92-89=181) to round out MUW's roster.
"I am extremely proud of our women's team for getting their second win as a program," Head Coach
Benji Williams said. "They have worked extremely hard this semester, and this should give us some great confidence going into our (SLIAC) conference championship next week."
The SLIAC championships will run October 5-7 at Birch Creek Golf Club in Union, Missouri.
