COLUMBUS, Miss. – Junior Zach Johnson has been named to the D3Baseball.com national Team of the Week for the period of April 27-May 4, 2025, it has been announced. It is the second time this season that Johnson, the only Owls' player to ever win the award, has been honored (also recognized March 31-April 6).
Johnson had a pair of big games in his two starts last week, versus SAA No. 1 finisher Millsaps College and in game one versus Westminster, to clinch SLIAC's No. 2 seed for MUW. 

Johnson had multiple hits in both games, going a combined 6-for-12 (.500), with a double, a triple, and three home runs. He drove in 8 runs on the week and scored 6 times, as well.
