In four games last week - including MUW's SLIAC series win over Eureka - Matthew batted .421 (8-19), including a pair of doubles. Matthew scored 5 runs, drove in 8, walked once, and was hit by a pitch. He had a .455 on-base average and a slugging percentage of .526. In the two wins versus Eureka in conference play, he scored the deciding run in game #1 and drove in the winning RBI in game #3. Additionally, Matthew was 3-for-3 in stolen bases and played errorless in centerfield in 18 chances, including one runner thrown out.
