COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W baseball senior Baron Brack has been selected as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Hitter of the Week for baseball, covering the games of April 20-26, 2026, it was announced by the league office.

In five SLIAC games last week - in which the Owls went 3-2 – Brack had a .524 batting average, going 11-for-21. Among those knocks were six extra-base hits: three doubles and three triples. Brack had nine runs batted in and scored six times. He drew one walk and was hit by a pitch once, as well.

For the week, the Owls outfielder slashed .524/.952/.520.  He had at least one hit in each of the five contests, with four multi-hit games. 

In MUW's Saturday (Apr. 25), 4-3, extra-inning win in the series' rubber game versus Greenville, Brack became the first-ever Owls' player to have two triples in the same game. His second three-bagger of the day came to lead off the 10th inning and paved the way for him to score the game-winning run three batters later, when teammate Chase Marshall singled through the left side of the infield.

On the season, Brack is batting .396, with 12 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs. He leads the Owls with 56 RBI, while also scoring 41 runs.
