Owls Compete Against No. 3 Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Owls volleyball team took on Colorado College in its first match of its Colorado Tour. The W was unable to get pass the Prowlers falling 3-0 (11-25, 11-25, 6-25) Friday evening in the Reid Area.

The Owls played hard but struggled to mount an effective offense against the No. 3 ranked Colorado.

Sophomore middle blocker Tori Weir led The W offense with four kills on 13 total attacks. She also tallied one block solo and two service aces for 7.0 points.

Other standout Owls were Madison Lamon with four digs and five assists and Mary Grace Prine with three digs and five assists.

The Owls will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 27 when they take on Johnson and Wales University and the University of Dallas in the second day of its Colorado Tour. The first match is set to begin at 1 p.m. CST.
