Owls Men's Soccer Fall in Midweek Match Up,3-0

JACKSON, Miss – The Owls men's soccer team falls to 2-1-2, dropping 3-0 to Millsaps College on Wednesday, Sept. 11. In its first loss of the season, The W racked up seven shots with two on goal but was unable to land a goal passed the Major defense.

Goalkeeper Selvin Lopez defended the Owls goal for the entire match. The junior from Memphis, Tenn., prevented six goals while allowing three to control The W defense. 

Offensively, Brayan Resendiz and Michael Ledbetter led the team with two shots each. Following Resendiz and Ledbetter tallying one shot each was Courtney Moore, Joshua Frankenstein, and Nikola Srzic,

The Owls men's soccer team will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 14 as they host Pensacola Christian College. Kick-off time is set for 2 p.m.
