Owls defeated by red-hot Dillard on the road

Box Score NEW ORLEANS, La. – Mississippi University for Women volleyball was tripped up by a Dillard University team that has been playing very well of late, losing by a 3-0 score. The Owls were the 11th-consecutive victim for the Bleu Devils (12-2), falling by set scores of 12-25, 19-25, 8-25.
 
Sarah White and Maggie Griggs each booked three kills versus Dillard. White had six digs and each had an ace on their ledger. Griggs had a team-leading 20 attack attempts and two digs.
 
Setters Camryn Johnson and Hannah Duran had seven and six assists, respectively. Johnson has six digs, as well.
 
Jasmine Kelly had two of her team's blocks in the match, one solo and one assist.
 
The Owls will look to right the ship on Saturday (Oct. 9), with a pair of matches at Pensacola Christian University. Start times in Florida are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
