Box Score LaGRANGE, Ga. – Mississippi University for Women continued to be baffled by LaGrange College in its brief men's soccer history, falling on the road by a 3-0 score. The Owls (1-3-2) lost to the Panthers (5-2-0) for the fourth time in as many meetings since the series began.
"We had a learning experience in the game with the Panthers," The W Head Coach
BJ Pheasant said. "Credit to them for taking advantage of their opportunities. We will regroup in practice this week and look forward to our Texas 'two-step' this weekend."
MUW found itself out-shot by LC, 19-8 overall and 11-3 for shots on-goal.
The first half of the contest stayed close, with just a goal in the 13th minute by the Panthers. But things were turned upside down in a hurry in the second half, when LaGrange netted a pair of goals less than a minute apart (at 61:32 and 62:42) to quickly expand the Owls' deficit to the final 3-0 score.

David McCutchen was charged with all three goals. McCutchen made seven saves in the match.
