This week's Owl of the Week is Davianna Brent from the women's tennis team. Davianna came up big for MUW in its win over LaGrange on Saturday. With her team already playing short-handed (giving away three team points at the outset), Brent helped rally the Owls! She won her match (along with Alexis Woods) at No. 2 doubles,,8-4, to give The W a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. With the team score tied at 4-4 and the match hanging on her result at No. 3 singles, she came through! After losing her first set 6-0, Davianna rallied for a tie-breaker win in set two, 7-6 (7-2), and then had a dominating third-set victory, 6-2, to put the match in the win column for The W.
