Box Score JACKSON, Miss. – The W volleyball saw its modest three-match win skein come to a halt in a loss at Millsaps College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-21), in a non-conference matchup. The W fell to 10-17, overall, while the Majors evened their season record at 16-16.
MC swept the season series versus MUW, also winning (3-1) in Columbus on September 17. The rematch in Jackson on Tuesday evening featured numerous lengthy rallies, evidenced by a combined 123 digs between the two squads (67 by MC and 56 by the Owls). Each team had identical attack attempt number at 126, apiece.
After losing the opening set, MUW's best opportunity to climb back in the match came in the second set. The Owls led by a 16-8 count, before the hosts went on a major run, 15-2, to take control of the set and the match on the scoreboard.

Skye Letson's nine kills.
Madyson McBrayer was close behind with eight kills, to go along with her 10 digs and an errorless effort on 15 receptions. Freshman
Sydney Barrett added seven kills to MUW's offensive coffers.
Setter
Kinsley Kennedy had 26 of her team's 28 total assists for the night. Sophomore libero
Brooklyn Comfort led the backrow players with 24 kills.
The W will next play on Friday (November 7/3:30 p.m.) at Sewanee, in another non-league bout.
