COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W women's soccer team competed tremendously in their match against Hendrix on Sunday, Sept. 30. The Owls played hard but they were unable to get pass the Warriors to fall 2-1. After Sunday's match, the Owls move to 1-9 on the season.
Isaura Camacho, scored the Owls only goal at 37:28 in the first half.
On offense, Camacho, Britain Welzien, and Carmin Childs tallied one shot on goal each.
Goalkeeper Sarah Gilliland, played the entire 90 minutes. Gilliland tallied 3 saves and allowed two goals in the loss.
The Owls will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 2 when they travel to compete against Sewanee. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
