COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls men's and women's tennis teams are set to kick-off the 2021 season this weekend as they travel to Lookout, Ga. to face Covenant College.

On the men's team, The W returns Jonathan Corpstein and Sam Yarborough while adding Jacob Davis, Mikey Duncan, Samuel Garrie, Luis Leal, Jr., and Dylan Plumlee.

The women return Laura Kate Inman, Emma Potter, and Nicole Rensink. The newcomers for the women's team are Karina Garcia, Kaitlyn George, Terraline Green, Jordan Havens, Maggie Taylor, Allison Topcik, and Kelly Williams.

Due to the pandemic, the 2019-2020 season for The W was cut short. Both teams closed out the year 2-6.

The first serve is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Covenant College Tennis Complex.
