The Owls made light work of Crowley's Ridge College in their first doubleheader of the weekend, sweeping them 12-2 and 4-2. After the game, Coach Wolfe spoke about his team's effort, saying, "We recorded two good wins today for our ball club. Both starting pitchers, David Standifer and Joel Estabrook did an awesome job on the mound and never surrendered the lead once we got it. Trey Petite had a great day at the plate in Game 1, that guy couldn't stay off the bases. Our defense played well and our hitters did a very good job of moving runners when they got on base and getting big hits with 2 outs. Hopefully, we pick up tomorrow where we left off!"
