Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Mississippi University for Women women's soccer team ran into a buzz saw in No. 2-seeded Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse in the semifinals of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Championships, falling 4-0, at the Princess Ann Sports Complex. The Owls (8-7-1), the tournament's No. 3-seed, will face No. 4-seed Florida National University on Saturday morning (9 a.m. CT) in the third place game.
MUW was out-shot in the match by a 21-5 margin. The W put two shots on frame and both were saved, while Owls goalkeeper
Olivia Clark faced 10 shots and stopped six. The Bobcats tallied two goals in each half.
MUW had he bulk of its offensive threats in the first half, taking four shots.

If The W could bounce back and win Saturday's third place bout, it could still achieve a milestone in team history. MUW has never won a game in the USCAA championship tournament, losing once and tying in 2019.
